We had such a great group! Such energy! Such passion! Such Humor!! I really couldn't have asked for anything more! You asked them to shake it...they BROKE IT! So much fun!!

PIYO CERTIFICATION - FEBRUARY 18, 2007ENRGY! Wow- sums it up! They all really had an open mind to trying something different as well as contrinuting GREAT ideas! PiYo is meant to open the doors and to really think outside of the box. We STARTED their journey in this direction- now it's a matter of finding your own way and making this format all yours.

NEW YORK CITY! Feb 2007!

FIRST TURBO KICK(TM) CERTIFICATION EV-AH HELD IN MANHATTAN!

WOW-WEE!! What an incredible weekend!! First of all, I can't thank Ali Rivera ENOUGH! What a phenominal lady!! As the post details, this was Powder Blue Productions FIRST ever held Turbo Cert in NYC! I have been working as an APD for over 6-7 years now. I have surrounded Manhattan by doing certifications all over, Albany, CT, NJ, Philly, Long island..Manahattan was surrounded. It's a tough city to crack! We needed to make sure that the Turbo word of mouth spread enough before we could schedule in this city. With Ali teaching at Boom Fitness after teaching there just starting in Sept- she hooked me up with the director to bring TK into the Big Apple.

I was most nervous about finding parking so that I could bring in my 4+ large rolling suitcases of materials. THANKFULLY- a spot opened up just as I arrived to the gym, right in front of the door! Oh I knew the day was starting off right!

Here's a picture of THREE success stories for Turbo! Meredith has lost about 80 lbs!! Ali has also lost and reshaped her body (she's also featured in the new upcoming version of the TurboJam infomercial). Then of course me. Originally a success story on the original infomerical losing over 32 pounds, and again following the birth of my son this year with over 40 pounds off!








Everyone worked hard! We did a couple group face offs! Here are some pics of the "calm" face off-finesse!

What a FUN group! We were rocking it!! Too bad we didn't have disco lights!! Little troubles with my screeching microphone, but these ladies did not care! They STILL broke loose!! Love it!!

What a FUN bunch! We had a great time and I had such a great group of ladies who offered such enthusiasm as well as great input! Training day's are that much more fun and FLY by even faster when a group is as interactive as this bunch.

They worked really hard on learning their choreography for the group presentation:

They have surely caught onto the TURBO Fever! I'm sure you will be able to find a lot of Turbo Kick(tm) classes in the Albany area since this group is HOT! They have accepted the challenge to be better, do better, and to work hard so that they can share this format with others.

Congrats ladies!! Thank you so much for an awesome day! And I truly hope you are as sore as I am!

GET ON THE BALL- TURBO BALL!

If you haven't tried this yet, you need to! BeachBody has released a ball workout with Turbo! What a great direction! We have changed the Tuesday/Thursday Turbo classes at Greece Women's to be Turbo Kick(tm) Turbo Ball!
Basically, we work a Turbo Round up through TURBO. Then it's tme for the ball! Oh no no no NO! Don't you sit down on that thing. GET UP! We work it with intervals! This new addition is sculpting the shoulders and abs of many turbo followers. It's a great workout and what a nice change of pace! You can still get a full Turbo round on Monday and Wednesday's just 1 /2 mile down the road at Greece Co-ed with me...but work this into your schedule. You will be thankful you did!
Some comments I have heard following class:

* It forces you to work on your form with your kicks!

* I was doing the wheel all wrong until we did it with the ball!

* I never liked ball workout classes until we did it in Turbo!

* I was so sore 2 days later and couldn't figure out why- then I remembered- Turbo Ball!

* It carves out your midsection really hitting your core!

ORANGE COUNTY TRIP

John, Johnny, and myself headed out to Orange County CA on Wed Dec 13th. Johnny's first airpane trip! We were very lucky as he was such a good boy! I thought to myself as I got on the plane, oh boy, I'm "one of them" now. Ya know, the "one" where everyone crosses their fingers and toes that they don't sit next to them because of having a baby. ( self tanner on ready for the video shoot)

We arrived to immediately film Round 29. Whoah, this one is going to be HOT! Some cool moves in there, things we haven't done before and changes to the standard. I found out from Chalene some of the awesome music that will be in this round. It's going to be a favorite FA SURE! We had a great time, and did really well! We were done filming in about 3- 4 hours! Camera Eye viewJohn and I took Thursday to run around to Laguna Beach to take our Xmas Card photo as well as went to Fashion Island. Friday was the employee Xmas party. John took Johnny to Disney Land. Got his Mickey ears and everything. We all met up for dinner. I swear if they had an award big enough for Bret and Chalene- it's not out there. Can't even put into words how great these two are for employers. They truly know how to keep their staff happy. Here's a couple pics of our excursion:

Toronto Here we Come! 12-2-06

We headed out to Irish RoBBIe a.k.a Rob Abramowitz's Turbo PAR-TAY! Lynn Swanger, Heidi Aberi, and I jumped into the car and took the 3 hour trip to CAH-NI-DAH! Hooked up with Heather from Arizona (AZTLGRL), Heather Abramowitz ("My Heather"), and Robbie on Friday night for a little chattin!
What a morning! Robbie told us to park at the green "P"...first green P we saw, we took it! Found out it was about 8 blocks away from the actual gym, and not the correct Green "P". What a sight, for downtown Toronto, 3 gals hauling up the brisk ligt snowing streets lugging 2 huge rolling suitcases, a disco light, and disco light stand. We had our hands FULL...and we're dying laughing with how crazy this was to be doing. I could never imagine doing that in NYC. But we cwazy! ;-)
Got to the gym, or so we thought, and busted in to find a guy shocked at our intrusion. Wrong gym....next blocks up! Finally- 3 flights up and we finally make it. Rob and Heidi setting up...

My Journey Continues...

Well, My journey continues. I am down 42 lbs from my delivery date. It's a struggle to schedule in weights along with the rest of.....life. But again, it has to be a priority! I tend to run around a lot- seems like poor Johnny and I are always packing up to go to the gym, go to the gym, go to the gym...
We had a spot on 13 WHAM's news on Monday night the 13th with Christine Webb. She came to Greece and filmed some TK to spotlight it. It wasn't a real class, we just got a few ladies together to do this for her. She really enjoyed it, and is hooked on TURBO! Yahoo! Here's the link of the video:

Concord NH Master Class!

I headed out to the Boston area on Nov 10th for a TK master class in Concord NH at Gold's Gym. This group was GREAT! We will be holding our 2nd ever TK cert in NH in March! I was actually out in this area for my TK Westborough MA event on Saturday. I forgot to take pictures on Saturday at my certification. It was a fantastic group that gave me back TONS of energy! Can't wait to go back for PiYo in MA in March! BUT, I did however grab a picture of Jodie Gregory-Blood and Laura Jacobi right following Friday night's master class. So I was a little bit successful!

What a F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C Group! We had such a blast! This is my home club- Greece Co-Ed at Greece Ridge Mall! What a freezing room but we surely warmed it up! These guys worked hard! We turned the lights off, turned the disco lights on! It was Fiesta Party time!

Hmmm...what, Heather (a.k.a "My Heather") and RoBBIe (a.k.a Irish RoBBie) must not like taking class next to each other! We have NEVA in the middle!
